The WildStar Beta Wants YOU!
Greetings!
Congratulations! The team at Carbine Studios would like to cordially invite you to participate in our latest Stress Test. Our engineers here at Carbine have spent years working on their server hardware, software, and everything in between, and now it's your turn to break it! Oh, and you'll get to play WildStar too, we suppose.
We want to push everything to their limits this week, and that can only be done with your help! Before we get to the good stuff (you know, your stress test key, the instructions for patching, and the dates and times), there are a few things we want to explain, so that you understand our goals for this test.
The Important stuff:
This test is an actual, genuine, 100% real stress test. This means that we need things to break. Repeatedly. Login servers, patch servers, world servers, chat servers; everything's fair game this weekend. We'll be working with you around the clock to push our systems to the limit. The process will involve a lot of issues we can fix on the spot, identifying issues we need to work to fix moving forward, and continued and constant communication with you about how things are going. In the worst case, you'll have a fun weekend in WildStar. In the best case, you may not be able to play without experiencing some serious glitches, which is just the way we like it!
This key will only work for this weekend's event, and acceptance into this Stress Test does not preclude getting an invite into the Closed Beta at a later date.
With the important stuff out of the way, let's get to the details.
The Details:
First, this event is under NDA. That means that you aren't permitted to talk about your experiences. We love to be able to trust people, and the people we trust get all kinds of special goodies. We're talking about invitations to special Arkship events, WildStar parties and gatherings, and more.
Next, you'll need to create an NCSOFT Account so you can play.
Creating an NCSOFT Account:
*NOTE: If you already have an existing NCSOFT account, you can safely skip these steps.
Visit the NCSOFT account creation website and enter your details.
Follow the link in the email you receive to verify your email address successfully.
Redeeming your WildStar Stress Test Key:
Log into your account using the NCSOFT account website.
Click "Apply A Code" on the red banner near the top of the page.
Paste in this serial key: MSU9-XX9P-YJSG-UKDS-JWV6
Click Apply
If you receive a success message, you're good to go! If you receive any errors, double-check that the serial key was correctly entered
The Dates/Times for the Event (subject to change):
Friday, December 6th, 5PM PST - 9PM PST
Saturday, December 7th, 11AM PST - 3PM PST
